*Frequency of T-DNA transfer into yeast (average of two independent experiments) was assayed by using an A. tumefaciens virC knockout strain containing one of the virC2 mutant derivatives of pSDM3664.

Transfer frequency was normalized to that of the cells containing pSDM3664 which expresses wild-type VirC proteins.
