Delayed rectifier K+ currents in response to a depolarizing step (+10mV, 200 msec) in voltage clamped small diameter rat DRG neurons. Potassium currents measured in a Na+-free bathing solution (see Methods) before (Control) and during exposure to 50 nM ET-1. A. Currents are reduced in an IB4-positive cell after 7 min exposure to ET-1. B. Curents are unaffected by exposure to 50nM ET-1 in an IB4 – negative neuron.
