Enzyme activity values (units) were taken from manufacturer’s data sheet and it was assumed that no activity was lost prior to use.
Values are average ± standard derivation of N=5 samples.
The activity could not be measured in the case of methanol treated film containing 1 wt% HRP because the enzyme concentration was too high to measure, even at the smallest film size and largest substrate volume.
