(b) Two micromolar 2 in chloroform yields the cylindrical capsule 22 with 3 surrounded solvent molecules. (c) Mixing 2 (2 mM) with 1 (2.5 mM) results in the formation of hybrid capsule 1.2; the original homomeric capsules are also present. (d) Tennis ball 32 (2 mM) in chloroform containing dissolved atmospheric gases. (e) Mixing of 22 (2 mM) and 32 (2 mM) gives the new hybrid capsule 2.3.
