Fig. 1 — Gads is required for rapid onset of aggregation and secretion by low concentrations of CRP and rhodocytin. Washed mouse platelets (2 × 10⁸ mL⁻¹) were stimulated in an aggregometer with CRP (A), thrombin (B) or rhodocytin (C) and allowed to aggregate. Percentage light transmission was calculated. Washed mouse platelets (2 × 10⁸ mL⁻¹) were stimulated in an aggregometer with CRP (D), rhodocytin (E) or thrombin (F) and allowed to aggregate for 2 min. Adenosine triphosphate secretion was measured using light emission from luciferin/luciferase. Results are representative of between three and eight experiments.
