Rabbit mAb to PTPro increases albumin permeability (Palb) of rabbit glomeruli, an effect blocked by fusion protein. Glomeruli were isolated and incubated with mAb 4C3 or P8E7 as well as with control Ab BB5. 4C3 markedly increased Palb while neither P8E7 nor BB5 caused a significant increase. Preincubation of 4C3 with fusion protein (FP) of rabbit PTPro ECD markedly attenuated the increase in Palb caused by 4C3.
