Coexpression of Kir4.2 and MUPP1 leads to reduced Kir4.2 expression at the cell membrane in Xenopus oocytes. Xenopus oocytes were injected with H₂O (control) or Kir4.2 (5 ng), Kir4.2 (5 ng) and MUPP1 (2.5 ng), or Kir4.2 (5 ng) and MUPP1 (10 ng). Sections were processed for immunofluorescence microscopy 2 days after injection with the MUPP1 (top row) and Kir4.2 Ab (bottom row) indicated, both at dilutions of 1:100.
