Effect of salinity (control vs. 100 mm NaCl) on the flow profile of net uptake, transport and accumulation of Na⁺ and Cl⁻ in Nerium oleander plants.. Net uptake and accumulation were calculated from the difference in ion content at days 15 and day 30. Transport was calculated from the ion/Ca ratio obtained from analysis of xylem sap exuded from roots and stems. All numbers denote μmol g⁻¹ d. wt d⁻¹.
