Effect of angiotensin II (Ang II) on NADH dehydrogenase subunit 5 (ND5) content. Neonatal cardiomyocytes were incubated for three days in control medium. On the third day, some cells were treated for 6 h with medium containing either 1 nM Ang II, or 1 nM Ang II and the mitochondrial permeability transition pore inhibitor, cyclosporin A (CsA, 200 nM). Following treatment, the cardiomyocytes were harvested, mitochondria isolated and Western blots of ND5 obtained.
