The incidence of ventricular fibrillation (VF) during coronary artery occlusion (filled histograms) and following reperfusion (open histograms) in control dogs (C), in dogs exercised 24 h and 48 h previously as well as in dogs in which the exercise protocol was repeated (two times 48 h). The effect of aminoguanidine (AG) in exercised dogs (24 h plus AG) and in nonexercised dogs (C plus AG) is also illustrated.
