The input factors, T (°C), pH and DO (%) were adjusted every 15 min over the course of 1 h via an ADI1030 controller. Once optimal DoE conditions (21.5°C, pH 7.6, 90% DO) were reached, a further 15 min stabilisation period was applied prior to fed-batch induction.
