Diplamine B (4) and lissoclinidine B (5) stabilized Hdm2 in MEFs. p53−/− mdm2−/− MEFs were transiently transfected with Hdm2 plasmid under the control of a CMV promoter. Forty-eight h after transfection, the cells were treated with 10 µM 4 or 5 for 8 h. Cellular Hdm2 and β-actin were determined by immunoblotting.
