Lissoclinidine B (5) inhibits Hdm2-mediated p53 degradation. U2OS cells were transiently co-transfected with plasmids encoding p53 and Hdm2. Sixteen h after transfection, the cells were treated with 50 µM ALLN, or 3–15 µM 5 for 8 h. Cellular p53 and β-actin were determined by immunoblotting. p53-(Ub)n: ubiquitylated forms of p53.
