A, cholesterol absorption in mice of the indicated genotype fed either chow or LD for 8 weeks was measured by fecal dual isotope ratio methodology. There was similar cholesterol absorption in Apobec-1^−/− mice and WT controls on the chow diet, but cholesterol absorption was decreased in Apobec-1^−/− mice fed the LD.
