In this example, cortico-spinal fibers (in blue) are linked into a bundle, where the inter-fiber connectivity edges (in red) are obtained through local 3D Delaunay triangulations of the bundle vertices. The resulting connectivity information is then are used to define a discrete bundle Laplacian. Notice that only the nearby fibers are connected, i.e., the connectivity is local, as desired.
