Effects of heat-treatment on cefazolin release from polypeptide multilayer nanofilms. Cefazolin was released at pH 7.0. Cefazolin-containing (PLL/PLGA)10 and (PLL/PLGA)20 nanofilms were assembled at pH 10.0 and loaded with cefazolin at pH 7.0 for 20 min. The inset shows the release in percentage.
