Cell signaling in chemotaxis and cell proliferation during wound-healing: Platelet derived growth factor (PDGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) play an integral role in the signal cascade responsible for chemotaxis and cell migration during wound-healing.
