Mixed (C57BL/6 × 129Sv) background E2f1^-/-;E2f3a^+/- mice were intercrossed and the number of pups of each genotype was determined at the indicated ages. The observed frequency of E2f1^-/-;E2f3a^-/- mice was not significantly different from expected at birth but significantly lower than expected at three weeks of age as determined by χ² test.
