Equal protein loading was verified by Ponceau S staining and reprobing with an antibody against total aPKCζ/λ/ι, which shows equivalent expression between WT and MT podocytes. (B) Immunofluorescence staining of cultured human podocytes shows nuclear sequestration of phospho-aPKCζ/λ/ι(Thr410/403) (white arrows, a) in WT podocytes and cytoplasmic expression in nephrin-deficient podocytes (MT; b).
