Identification and characterisation of the uPAR promoter. (A) 5' RACE performed on a panel of tissues/cell types identified a cluster of transcriptional start sites (TSS) which show distinct patterns of usage. TSS are listed relative to ATG of translated sequence. (B) 4000 bp upstream (from ATG) was analysed for potential transcription factor binding sites using four different programs.
