RAD52 stimulates OGG1-α 8-oxoG incision activity. OGG1 incision reactions (20 μl) were performed with serial dilutions of OGG1-α (0.3 to 5 nM) with (lanes 3 to 7) or without (lanes 8 to 12) 25 nM RAD52 at 37°C for 20 min as described in Materials and Methods. Lane 1 shows a reaction without enzymes, and lane 2 shows the reaction with RAD52 alone. The data points are the averages ± the SEM of three independent experiments. Asterisks denote incision activity significantly higher in the presence of RAD52 at P < 0.05.
