Effects of FGF19 and FGF19dCTD on glucose metabolism. (A) Ob/ob mice were injected with recombinant FGF19 (n = 10) or FGF19dCTD (n = 10), plasma glucose levels were measured 1, 3, and 5 h after injection and plotted as area under the curve (AUC) during this time period. (B) Ob/ob mice were treated with FGF19 or FGF19dCTD for 12 days (once a day injection, 11 mice per group). An oral glucose tolerance test was performed after the glucose challenge.
