Immunohistochemical analysis of S100A1 in normal and tumour tissues. In normal fetal (A) and adult (B) kidneys the S100A1 was expressed preferentially in the collecting ducts. (C) A strong diffuse to focal membranous and also cytoplasmic staining of RO cells with the S100A1 antibody. Notice that some areas of the RO were negative with the antibody (D, below).
