Localization of ATP7B in relation to marker proteins for the apical and basolateral plasma membrane and the Golgi apparatus. No overlap between ATP7B (mid lane) and the basolateral membrane marker NaK-ATPase (a) was observed. The apical actin cortex was visualized by phalloidin-TRITC (b, red) but showed no colocalization with ATP7B immunoreactivity. As is shown in (c), ATP7B colocalized with the Golgi marker Rer1. Cell nuclei were stained with Hoechst 33342 (blue). Bars: (a,b) 10µm, (c) 20µm.
