Immunofluorescence technique for detection of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) antibodies against HCMV-induced late antigens with elimination of immunoglobulin G-receptor staining.

Abstract

An immunofluorescence technique is described which permits the elimination of nonspecific cytoplasmic staining from late antigen preparations by using in situ a buffer containing Nonidet P-40.
