Myoblasts expressing LV-tmEpoR-Luc and LV-GFP-Luc C2C12 control cells were collected (2×10⁵) and were injected at 2-mm depth into the gastrocnemius muscle of 3-mo-old mdx and WT mice. Donor cells expressing the luciferase reporter gene were imaged following injection of luciferin (150 mg/kg, i.p. injection) using the IVIS imaging system. Luciferin activity was monitored at d 1, 4, 7, 10, and 14 after transplantation.
