BOB1 prevents thermal aggregation of MDH. Thermal aggregation of 300 nm MDH at 45°C was monitored every minute for 80 min by measuring scattering at 320 nm in the presence or absence of wild-type (WT) and G141E (bob1-3) His-tagged recombinant BOB1 protein. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) at a concentration equal to the highest BOB1 concentration by weight serves as a negative control. The average of at least three replicates is shown for each condition.
