Calculated reflectivity of a 50 nm silver film on BK7 glass (n_p = 1.52). The sample (protein layers) was assumed to be 15 nm thick (n_s = 1.50). The buffer thickness was taken as infinite with n_w = 1.33. For silver phase we used ${\in }_{\text{m}}^{532}=-11.5+0.3\text{i}$, ${\in }_{\text{m}}^{595}=-15.0+0.4\text{i}$, and ${\in }_{\text{m}}^{665}=-21.0+0.6\text{i}$ [12].
