Figure 6A) SU86 tumors were grown in nude mice and when tumors reached 100–200 mm3, animals were divided into control (PBS) and treated (50 mg/kg DCA IP) groups. Animals were treated daily from day 2 to 16 and tumor volumes measured as indicated. Figure 6B) At day 21 animals were injected with DCA, one hour later by Pimonidozole and 3 hours later sacrifieced. Tumors were explanted and a single cell suspension generated that was stained with FITC-labelled anti-pimonidozole antibody. Cells were analyzed by FACS and the fraction staining >200 (AUs) is indicated.
