Effect of anti-SesC IgGs on 1-day-old biofilms of S. epidermidis 10b on polystyrene surfaces in vitro. After 24 h of incubation at 37°C the growth media were replaced with fresh TSB (control) or TSB containing 5 μg/ml preimmune or anti-SesC IgGs and then incubated for 24 h at 37°C. The remaining biofilms were stained with crystal violet and quantified by determining the OD₅₉₅. The error bars indicate standard deviations. The data are the averages of eight measurements obtained in two independent experiments.
