Cells were pre-incubated with catalase and HBED for 1 hr prior to incubation with 1000 µM PQ²⁺. Cells were stained with PI after 18 hrs of PQ²⁺ incubation. Images of PI+ cells were collected from 3 randomly selected fields and counted; data are expressed as number of PI+ cells/field.
