The lines represent (green) a linear dependence; and (blue) a logarithmic dependence on the atom fraction of deuterium in solvent. The red line and black circles represents the experimental data. Solutions contained 25 mM of all species of CO2 at 10 °C, sufficient Na2SO4 to maintain 0.2 M ionic strength, and no added buffers.
