Sustained antinociceptive effect of WIN 55,212-2 (WIN) over time in rats with spinal cord injury (SCI) (n = 5–6/group). Hindpaw withdrawal thresholds (in grams) in SCI rats were measured (a) before and (b) 30 min after injection of either WIN (0.3, 1, or 3 mg/kg) or vehicle. Rats were injected twice a day but tested only after first daily injection. Data are shown as mean ± standard error of the mean.
