TAK-242 inhibits both LPS-induced and HMGB-1-induced TNF-α production in RAW264.7 cells. Cells were cultured with 0.5 ng·mL⁻¹ LPS or 10 µg·mL⁻¹ HMGB-1 for 20 h in the presence of 0.1 ng·mL⁻¹ IFN-γ and various concentrations of TAK-242. TNF-α levels in the culture supernatants were measured by ELISA. Data represent the mean ± SEM in triplicate wells.
