Cleavage of pro-caspase 8 and truncation of Bid by statins. The supernatant of lysed cells was analysed for reduction of pro-caspase 8 (A) and full-length Bid (B). The 518A2 melanoma cells were treated for 48 h with the indicated concentrations (µM) of simvastatin and atorvastatin.
