Decrease in microglial process movement in older PDAPP mice. The number of microglial process (A) extensions and (B) retractions were counted in young (3.5- to 6.5-month-old) and old (14- to 17-month-old) PDAPP+/−;CX3CR1/GFP+/− mice near and distant from amyloid pathology.
