Modified ELISA results for 10 representative peptides on 4 substrates showing a higher absorbance value at OD 410 with a higher concentration of phage. PLGA and TCPS background adsorption of each phage was minimal in 6 of 10 phage sequences tested. An example of a phage with high background is shown for peptide WSPAPHVIMGTT. Positive readings on the modified ELISA support that the phages identified are indeed specific to apatite-based materials.
