After 3 hr, insulin stimulates sodium-dependent phosphate transport to 1.4-fold control (#p<0.01). This is inhibited by wortmannin and PD98059 (**p<0.0001 vs. insulin for each). B. After 24 hr, insulin stimulates sodium-dependent phosphate transport to 1.5-fold control (#p<0.05). This is inhibited only by PD98059 (*p<0.05 vs. insulin).
