Nitrocefin hydrolysis by (a) Glx2-1 and by (b) prep minus Glx2-1. The concentration of nitrocefin was 96 μM, and the buffer was 10 mM MOPS, pH 7.2. Hydrolyzed product formation was monitored at 485 nm.
