The results shown are representative of three independent experiments. In none of these experiments was a statistical difference found (paired Wilcoxon's test), with P values between 0.074 and 0.734 for the transcriptional fusion-harboring strains and 0.052 and 0.734 for the translational fusion-harboring strains.
