MP reduces SCI-induced demyelination via a receptor-mediated mechanism. Spinal cords from groups of six rats subjected to sham surgery, SCI, SCI plus MP, or SCI plus MP plus RU486 were extracted, longitudinally sectioned, and stained with Luxol fast blue (A).
