The curve H represents the autocorrelation within the poly-Ala α-helix, while S1S2 (N-terminal β-hairpin), S3S4 (C-terminal β-hairpin), S1S4 (N/C-terminal two-stranded parallel β-sheet), as well as the nonnative arrangements S1S3, S2S4, and S2S3, reflect the association of poly-Thr β-strands.
