Role of ETA and ETB in ET-1-induced DNA synthesis in ELT3 cells. ELT3 cells, 18 h after nucleofection with control or ETA- or ETB-targeted siRNA, were serum starved and then treated for 48 h with or without 50 nm ET-1 or 50 nm S6c. [³H]thymidine (2 μCi/ml) was added 24 h before the end of the incubation, and [³H]thymidine incorporation was quantified as described in Materials and Methods.
