Klf4-induced growth arrest is not dependent on RARα. A, Am80 or Ro 41-5253 was given orally to pAd- and pAd-Klf4-infected animals that were subjected or not to vascular injury. Three days later, the injured arteries were harvested and analyzed by Western blotting using the indicated antibodies. β-Actin was used as a loading control.
