Intracellular ATP, cADPR, and IP3 levels and ADP-ribosyl cyclase activity in SC from CMT1A and wild type rats

Intracellular ATP, IP3, and cADPR levels were determined in wild type and CMT1A SC as described under “Experimental Procedures.” Intact wild type and CMT1A SC were incubated in the presence of NAD+, and production of cADPR was evaluated for estimation of ADP-ribosyl cyclase activity, as described previously (15). Results are the mean ± S.D. of at least four determinations.
