Intracellular ATP, cADPR, and IP₃ levels and ADP-ribosyl cyclase activity in SC from CMT1A and wild type rats

Intracellular ATP, IP₃, and cADPR levels were determined in wild type and CMT1A SC as described under “Experimental Procedures.” Intact wild type and CMT1A SC were incubated in the presence of NAD⁺, and production of cADPR was evaluated for estimation of ADP-ribosyl cyclase activity, as described previously (15). Results are the mean ± S.D. of at least four determinations.
