Oligomerization-dependent interactions of Yfh1 with Isu1_His analyzed by gel-filtration chromatography. A–I, Isu1_His was incubated in the absence or presence of an equivalent concentration of the indicated Yfh1 preparations (40 μm Yfh1 subunit), each sample was directly applied to a Superdex 75 column under the same solution conditions used in Fig. 1, and fractions were analyzed by 15% SDS-PAGE and protein staining. The distribution of Isu1_His is shown at the top of each set of gels for reference.
