Effects of H2O2 and glutathione on 26 S proteasomal activity in vitro. The rates of 26 S proteasome (A) chymotrypsin-like or (B) trypsin-like activity were measured after treatment with H2O2 (0 or 100 μm), GSH (0 or 1 mm), or H2O2 (100 μm) and GSH (1 mm).
