Copper-dependent ATPase and p-nitrophenyl phosphatase activities. ATPase activity (a) and p-nitrophenyl phosphatase (pNPPase) activity (b) of CopA WT, H479Q, and ΔNMBD proteins were measured in the presence or absence of copper. The Cu+-dependent activities were obtained by subtracting the activity in the absence of copper from that in its presence. These measurements were obtained at 40 °C, due to the high pNPPase activity. The average and standard deviation (n = 3) are shown.
