(a) A recording showing the current measured at 50 mV (outside negative) and its decrease induced by the Arg-9 addition at a concentration of 7 μM. After a few minutes, the current trace becomes rapidly fluctuating in the presence of the peptide. The variability of these current jumps can be observed in the three traces of panel b extracted at different time intervals.
